Early Years of NHS Football
(Above) This picture c.1900 of NHS was then at the corner of High and Green Streets, opposite the Mall. In the early years 1892-94 it was popular for the NHS Clippers to hurdle the split rail fence (seen right) that surrounded the Mall property after a win or in celebration. (The fence was removed in 1894 - unrelated to the Clippers)
