Rob finished as 8th all time in passing at Newburyport. The two year varisty starter was 119-281 and threw for 1,648 yards and 14 scores. The 14 TD passes puts him tied for 10th all time at NHS with Steve Ladd, Kevin Sullivan jr. and Ryan O’Connor. Although the daily news had Shay listed for fewer yards in 2016, the film and team stats had him correctly at 1,648. A Captain and leader, Rob made plays with his legs as well. Rob rushed 98 times for 429 yards in two seasons and 9 scores, 6 of those coming in the 2016 season. A tough nosed player and leader for the Clipper.
